Finally, after a very mild fall and early winter, the snow and the temps are falling. The lake has just frozen over in the past couple weeks, which is very late for us up north. But the forecast looks good for making ice. We have 4″ of snow on the ground and are hoping for more soon! The ski and snowmobile trails will be looking good soon. Cabins 7, 11 and 16 are warm and cozy in the winter. Come up and enjoy our winter wonderland…ice fishing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and have a roaring fire in the fireplace.

Anglers may fish Minnesota waters without a license from Tuesday, June 2, through Monday, June 8, during a pause in the DNR’s license issuing system. All other fishing season regulations and bag limits will remain in effect.
