Highway 46 will be closed for construction through June between Deer River and Gosh Dam Place for those coming from the east. The detour isn’t long. From Deer River, instead of heading up Hwy 46, you will continue west on Hwy 2 to Ball Club. Turn right on County Road 39 and go all the way to the T (Hwy 46, just south of Gosh Dam Place). Turn left on Hwy 46 and drive just past mile marker 19. Turn left on Eagle Nest Road, and we are 2 miles down on the left. This detour will be well marked with orange signs. If you are coming from the west, the construction won’t affect you. You can still drive up the Winnie Dam Road (County Road 9), and turn left onto Hwy 46.
