Cutfoot is frozen

This morning, November 22nd, we woke up to a fully frozen Cutfoot Sioux Lake.  This is the earliest ice on we’ve had in many years.  In a week or two, our ice fishing guests will be buzzing around catching fish and enjoying Minnesota in the winter.  Our beautiful log cabins with fireplaces are a perfect winter getaway location!  Call 218-246-8701 or email relax@eaglenestlodge.net for availability.

We finally have good ice on Cutfoot Sioux Lake. There's 8-10" of good ice, with a couple inches of snow on top. So, it's still easy to get around with ATVs and snowmobiles. The gap between Cutfoot and Winnie just froze over last night, so NO travel on the ice between the lakes!! Water clarity is decent. Cabins 7, 11, and 16 are cozy in the winter. We have enough snow for snow-shoeing, and soon will have enough to ski.
